About the Maryland Young Republicans

The Maryland Young Republicans (MDYRs) is a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering the next generation of Republican leadership within the state of Maryland. As an affiliate of the Young Republican National Federation, MYR works tirelessly to encourage political involvement and activism among young people. Their mission is not only to promote the principles of the Republican Party but also to empower young adults to make a positive impact on their communities and beyond.

Meet Your Board

Jackie Sackstein, Chairman

Jackie was the Montgomery County YR President from 2021-2023. She also serves as the Executive Director and Second Vice Chair of the Montgomery County Republican Club, the President of the Maryland Republican Women Empowered, and the Founder and Vice Chair of the Maryland Republican Jewish Council. She is passionate about Republican politics and is excited to make Maryland the strongest chapter in the YRNF.

Ben kelley, Vice Chairman

Ben is a former member of the Talbot County Republican Central Committee. He works on Capitol Hill and previously served as Secretary of the Maryland Young Republicans and Vice Chair of the Catholic University College Republicans.

Jason is the former Deputy Director for the MDGOP. He is also a member of the Anne Arundel County Central Committee.

Cross Ritchey, national committeeman

Cross is the Chairman of the Western Maryland Young Republicans and a member of the Garrett County Central Committee.

Kira is the Chairman of the Carroll County Young Republicans.
